Pay Band: 6/G Salary: from Php 60,804 per month Country/Location: Taguig City, Philippines Department: Exams Contract Type: Indefinite Closing Date: Sunday, 09 November 2025- 23:59 Philippine Time (GMT +8) Role Description/Purpose The purpose of this role is to manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities to win new business, as well as a portfolio of existing accounts to retain and grow income, ensuring we deliver on customer goals. This role will collaborate with stakeholders across our Examinations and English business to sell solutions that encompass our E&E products. It will also work closely with various stakeholder groups during solution design, proposal/budget development, and throughout delivery. The role holder will serve as the key point of contact for the B2B (business to business) accounts they manage, both internally and externally. Role Accountabilities We're looking for a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to lead business development efforts within a designated territory or region. In this role, you will contribute to the development and execution of our B2B sales strategy, helping shape business planning and income targets across multiple business units. You will be responsible for implementing sales strategies tailored to your market, industry, and product portfolio, using data-driven insights to inform regional priorities and drive performance. As a key player in business development, you will identify and act on new opportunities, leveraging internal and external networks and monitoring tender sources. You will manage a pipeline of prospects, engage with key stakeholders, and lead the full sales cycle from pitching and negotiating to closing deals. Working across teams, you will help design solutions that meet customer requirements and collaborate with marketing colleagues to develop annual plans that support sales targets. You will take ownership of achieving sales goals by coordinating with stakeholders to ensure operational readiness and customer experience excellence. This includes managing solution design, negotiating commercial contracts, and recommending improvements to enhance delivery and efficiency. As the main point of contact for B2B clients, you will build strong relationships, lead account planning, and support retention and growth through regular engagement and post-delivery evaluation. You will also identify opportunities to cross-sell other British Council products and services that add value to the partnership. In addition, you will capture and manage client data in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems, provide regular insights to support continuous improvement, and coordinate internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery. Qualifications & Experience Education: University degree or equivalent in a relevant subject or discipline Certification and Professional Qualifications: Sales or Marketing qualifications Knowledge and Experience Essential 3+ years of sales experience to include some experience of B2B sales Familiarity with Salesforce or use of similar CRM Proficiency in Microsoft office programs Desirable Solution-sales experience in large sectors (e.g financial services, media, pharmaceuticals tourism, government sector etc) Languages: Proficiency in the local language at C2 level for both speaking and writing, and English proficiency at B2/C1 level for speaking and writing.
