About the role: The Account Manager will play a key role in the growth and expansion of BSI’s Consulting Service's offerings, primarily in the US market. This will be accomplished by two means, continued organic sales growth and leveraging existing client relationships within other parts of the BSI business. You will be responsible for developing and managing direct client relationships and expanding existing channel relationships with the US Commercial Sales teams including BSI business stream practice leaders and Account Managers. Our brand and reputation are critically important to us, and you will be expected to preserve and expand our standing within the marketplace. You will be supported by an outstanding team of marketing, business operations, and service delivery professionals; as such, teamwork will be critical to success in this role. You will be expected to work independently with little supervision and to serve as part of a team in certain occasions. Account Manager Responsibilities: Client retention and key account management – the main focus of the role is “farming”, where you will be required to retain and grow current or existing accounts in line with the growth plans for the business. Development and execution of key account strategy/business plan Create an account relationship map to identify & drive engagement with key stakeholders across the client’s organization. Work with marketing & consulting teams to develop account strategy, leverage internal network and drive strategic alignment with clients. Client acquisition and reactivation – a part of the role will be to secure new projects or lines of work with a focus on finding new ways to help our clients with our diverse capabilities. Client-centricity – one of our core excellence behaviors, have a client first lens and everything should be done with a client focus on the heart of all our business dealings and interactions Collaborate with the US Commercial Team’s Business Development Directors in line with unlocking new opportunities with existing accounts and establishing new relationships with these clients. Collaborate with the BDMs and practice leaders to establish cross sell and up sell methodologies in growing existing clients and accounts. Pipeline and sales funnel management – Nurture opportunities in the US pipeline to closed/won and look to grow these accounts across the suite of products and services. Ensure alignment and adherence with the sales process from lead, to presales, to closed/won. Work closely with presales, bids and tenders team, managing the proposal development process and ensure alignment with the global operations excellence. Education/Qualifications: Experience in creating and delivering innovative solutions leveraging the expertise and product portfolio available to you. Experience providing a positive can-do attitude and an eagerness to spend time with clients, immersing yourself in their business. 5 years’ experience plus of client-facing sales, technical or solutions development with a focus on problem solving. An ability to communicate at a high level and become a brand ambassador who excels in working in a dynamic, fast paced changing commercial environment. Have demonstrated strong client and relationship management skills. Experience in developing client solutions within a team environment.. Confident approach to working both remotely and face to face with clients and internal stakeholders.
