ABOUT YOU

You must possess an understanding of account management, ideally within industrial sales, and organisational and communication skills to interact effectively with all areas of the business, build rapport, and deliver great outcomes.
You’ve already fine-tuned your relationship-building and negotiation skills from previous Sales/Customer Service roles, where you successfully managed your territory and multi-level relationships, both internally and externally. You have a pro-active attitude being a self-starter with strong analytical skills and commercial acumen enjoying visiting customers.

The other essentials we are looking for:

  • Full clean Australian Driver’s license.
  • Highly motivated, pro-active and self-starting individual.
  • Able to succeed unsupervised.
  • Experience with field sales is preferred.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including all MS Office Application.
Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an Account manager based out of our Mackay office to develop your territory and look after a broad customer base in Mackay region, QLD, selling PPE/workwear as well as lifting and rigging equipment.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for the sales revenue and margin targets within allocated territory/sector.
  • Responsible for the growth of existing accounts (GAP Selling)
  • Act as a trusted advisor to your allocate customers by ensuring we meet our agreed service expectations and manage any disputes/queries in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships with key decision makers and influencers
  • Provide sales forecasts based on knowledge of territory and market conditions (including product specific uplift via market intelligence)
