Description

You’re not looking for “just another job.” You want to own outcomes, not tasks. You’re the kind of person who sees an opportunity, takes action without waiting for permission, and thrives on seeing direct results from your work.
At Zen Psychiatry, we’re looking for a self-driven leader who can both close high-value deals and coach our clients to transform their businesses. If you’ve got the rare mix of entrepreneurial thinking, relationship-driven sales skills, and a passion for guiding others to succeed — you’ll love building with us.

WHO WE ARE

Zen Psychiatry is an online education company that empowers psychiatrists, psych NPs, and other mental health professionals to practice integrative psychiatry and build private practices. We believe the medical industrial complex overburdens psychiatrists and doesn’t serve patients, prioritizing medications over the complexities of treating mental illness.
Our mission is to help psychiatric professionals escape burnout and create fulfilling, autonomous practices that leverage their strengths, bring financial abundance, and transform patient care. We teach both the business strategies and clinical skills to be successful.

Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE:

Most coaching and consulting companies split sales and coaching — we don’t. We’ve found that when the same person builds the relationship, closes the sale, and then continues as the client’s coach, trust deepens, results improve, and client experience soars.
In our opinion, sales and coaching are also deeply connected. The biggest obstacles keeping our clients from their dream careers aren’t logistical—they’re internal. The skills that help us enroll new members into our program are the same as those that help them overcome the mindset blocks standing in the way of the practice they’ve always dreamed of having.
As a small, fast-growing company (5 team members total), we operate in an environment where a high level of autonomy is provided and a high level of responsibility is expected. The ideal candidate is proactive, strategic, and passionate about helping others succeed—while also being motivated by a results-oriented culture.

THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF…

  • You need constant direction or detailed task lists
  • You think sales is “convincing people” instead of serving them
  • You avoid difficult conversations with clients or team members
  • You aren’t comfortable being measured against clear performance metrics

ROLE DETAILS:

  • Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week)
  • Fully remote
  • PTO after initial training period (3 weeks + 10 federal holidays to start)
  • No health benefits offered currently
  • Must be U.S.-based or a U.S. citizen living in a North American time zone
