What the day will look like As an Account Manager within Aon Insurance Managers in Cayman, you will prepare and manage financial documents for several captive insurance and reinsurance companies. You will also coordinate the year-end audits for these entities. You will also supervise assistant accountants on specific client assignments and, in some cases, act as the primary contact for captive and reinsurance clients, working closely with external service providers and client supervisors. Your day may include: Inputting incoming insurance cessions Inputting premiums, claims, and reserves Maintaining cash books and preparing bank reconciliations Settling accounts receivable and accounts payable Updating investment schedules Calculating and preparing accounting accrual entries Preparing management financial documents and quarterly management reports Coordinating financial statement audits Presenting to captive Boards of Directors Preparing financial forecasts and budgets Authorizing payments Providing analysis and recommendations on sophisticated financial transactions Supervising and training assistant accountants for various clients Supporting other projects and assignments as required How this opportunity is different Aon Cayman can trace its origins back to 1975, as part of the International Risk Management Group (IRMG).
