Description

ChampionX is looking for a driven Account Manager/ District Sales Representative to join our team in Aberdeen. In this role, you will be responsible for working with relevant chemical management systems, applying best practice to meet the needs of the customer and the contract. As part of our continuous improvement philosophy, you will effectively communicate progress and improvements to the rest of the Sales team. You will deliver customer facing solutions that can increase revenue and reduce total cost of operation. Your time will be split between the ChampionX office, customer office and customer operational sites (on / offshore) as required.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Other Science Subject
  • Ability to build and maintain successful relationships across multiple levels of an organisation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent work ethic; always promoting a positive attitude
Responsibilities
  • Accountable for active participation in company safety culture
  • Assist in performing Account Management activities alongside Account Teams
  • Monitor, track and maintain adequate field inventories (chemical / equipment) as necessary
  • Assist with collection of samples and basic laboratory analysis
  • Gain offshore experience in scoping, undertaking and reporting on production chemistry trials/project work
  • Gain experience in chemical selection, application and performance monitoring
  • Produce and present Technical Reports to meet Customer requirements
  • Expected and encouraged to share and grow your knowledge and expertise collaboratively with colleagues across ChampionX
  • Work closely with Line Manager to begin to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement / innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales
  • Assist in the development of strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and new customers
  • Assist with problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.
  • Actively participate in sales campaigns (both Corporate and District)
