Job Title: Account Manager, Chemical Industry Location: Beijing / Shanghai Employment Type: Full-time The Job The Account Manager is responsible for delivering end-to-end account management services for a designated portfolio of large, high-profile regional accounts in the chemical industry. The core objective of this role is to meet revenue targets and drive maximum adoption of AVEVA’s solutions and services across assigned accounts. Key Responsibilities Achieve assigned vertical industry sales targets and quotas Develop and execute industry development plans; establish scalable, replicable industry business models; manage and administer account plans Build and maintain a robust partner network within the chemical industry Design and deploy industry-focused marketing initiatives Analyze customer requirements and deliver timely, tailored, and efficient solutions Ensure strict adherence to and compliant implementation of company policies Collaborate closely with line management to provide accurate, timely information and updates Maintain high standards of contract quality and track record of cash collection Essential Requirements Minimum 5 years of direct sales experience in a relevant field Solid domain knowledge of the chemical industry; a bachelor’s degree or above in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline is preferred Excellent communication skills and a proactive work attitude Strong cross-team and inter-departmental collaboration capabilities Proficient English reading and writing skills is preferred Desired Skills Proven expertise in selling software solutions to Owner/Operator customers in the China market Demonstrated track record of successful direct sales performance Alignment with AVEVA’s core values: Impact, Aspiration, Curiosity and Trust Commercial at AVEVA Our Commercial team, comprised of over 2,000 dedicated colleagues, is the backbone of our customer relationships and business growth.
