The Account Manager (AM) is a key role in the myprosperity team as champion of the relationship with our existing partners (financial professionals). The AM works closely with the training and onboarding team for a smooth transition of our new partners and to meet ongoing needs of partners in building successful adoption of the portal.
The partner relationship will involve problem-solving, nurturing and growing the business in each relationship. Knowledge of technology in the financial advice and/or accounting practice process and the operations generally of a financial professional’s business will be critical to this role. Our partner’s expectations are that the AM will be their ‘go to’ person for anything relating to the success of the myprosperity portal. As a result, portal knowledge and internal stakeholder relationships will be pivotal to the success of the AM role.
Working within the licensee framework will also be part of the AM role. This requires working closely with the Head of Sales to identify key stakeholder relationships to assist the partner relationships and business growth across the licensees.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED



    • Proven experience (3+years) in account management, sales or a similar role within the fintech or financial services industry

    • Degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or substantial equivalent experience of specialist account management roles
    • Solid understanding of financial planning processes and software solutions utilised in the industry
    • Experience with CRM software
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • A solution-driven mindset with a track record of consistently achieving set KPIs
    • Excellent listening and analytical skills
    • Willingness to travel as necessary to attend partner meetings, industry conferences and events

    Responsibilities


      • Manage our partner relationships to drive adoption

      • Identify key stakeholders in partner businesses to engage with regularly
      • Grow the revenue footprint in our existing partner relationships through cross-referrals and upselling of features and subscription levels
      • Manage product enhancement requests and report progress on these to partners.
      • Work with the Head of Sales to nurture key stakeholders in head office relationships
      • Work with internal stakeholders and teams within myprosperity to find solutions and improve outcomes for our partners
      • Be a product champion with expertise in all areas of the myprosperity portal
      • Attend professional development days, conferences and events as required to support the Head of Sales and the myprosperity growth strategy
      • Be aware of industry trends, regulatory changes, and the competitive landscape
      • Leverage market insights to make recommendations for product enhancements and innovations
      • Contribute positively to the culture within the sales team and more broadly across myprosperity
