KNOWLEDGE

EXPERIENCE:

  • Extensive experience in managing middle management grade staff.
  • Experience in Client liaison and multisite engagement.
  • Experience in similar manpower-intensive service industry
  • Experience in growing accounts/business through organic growth and new business.
Responsibilities

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

This is a field-based, operational management role for someone with a love for Operations and an in-depth knowledge of the cleaning industry. The role requires a disciplined individual able to manage time effectively. There is also an opportunity to grow within the business for ambitious candidates in search of career progression

MAIN DUTIES OF THE POSITION

(Not necessarily in order of importance)

  • Establish and maintain a good relationship with the client
  • Proactively manage the service with the client.
  • Respond to all client concerns quickly and professionally
  • Establish and maintain a good relationship with the client
  • Upsell and arrange one-off cleans with clients and check if they were satisfied afterward
  • Recruitment
  • Provide support to improve performance
  • Communicate with the team regularly
  • Succession planning
  • Training Sessions
  • Managing poor performance effectively and within company policies/procedures
  • Work alongside HR where necessary to provide support with employee relations and HR disciplinary procedures
  • Encourage process improvement
  • Ensure a full service is provided to the client and any shortfall is addressed immediately
  • Ensure there is a visible presence on-site at all times
  • Always maintain confidentiality
  • Ensure the performance of cleaning operatives meets company expectations
  • Complete Quality Audits and CER’s
  • Complete Payroll timesheets as part of the approval process
  • Ensure all Health and Safety checks and training is completed.
  • Monitor consumables and materials for sites via the online system
  • Ensure monthly site budgets are maintained
  • Ensure personal protective equipment is worn when required
  • Report and respond to any issues immediately and in the correct manner
  • Must be flexible in the approach to managing service
