Purpose and Scope: This position will be responsible for being a point of contact for clients and creating long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The account manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities. Responsibilities: Communicate with current clients to manage and resolve any questions or concerns. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions in a timely and professional manager. Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits. Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders. Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g quarterly sales results and annual forecast) Prepare reports on account status. Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory. Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed. Requirements Required PPE: Safety Vest Skills / Qualifications: Demonstrable ability to communicate, present an influence key stakeholder at all levels of an organization, including executive. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proven multi-tasking ability on account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail. Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant background experience. Job Competency / Qualifications Education/ Training: High School diploma, or a GED equivalent qualification. BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales, or relevant field. Technical Requirements: Excellent managerial and supervisory skills. Extensive knowledge of operations and production management. Ability to interpret financial data as needed to set production goals. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software Experience: Five (5) years professional work experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Warehouse Fulfillment or related field required. Certification through the Institute of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM) preferred.
