Reporting to the Electrification Distribution Solutions, Regional Sales & Solutions Director, you will be tasked with developing, implementing and managing the sales strategy for dedicated CoLo Datacentre accounts who are developing projects in the EMEA region.
The CoLo market is showing huge growth and you will be tasked with following associated End User and EPC accounts who are developing projects in the EMEA region. This is very much a customer-facing role will support the specification, pricing and ultimately the winning of key projects in the Datacenter CoLo market. In addition to this, you will be responsible for coordinating sales activities of the Local Sales Organizations to ensure a positive customer experience and successful growth in business volumes and profitability for ABB Electrification Distribution Solutions.
The work model for the role is: hybrid. This role is based in Dublin, London or Northern Europe.
This role is contributing to the ABB Electrification Distribution Solutions.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Understanding key drivers and risks in customers’ businesses (e.g. Sustainability, Digitalization, Cybersecurity) and identifying their impact and opportunity for ABB.
  • Leading the development and implementation of account and Share-of-Wallet growth plans, driving strategic engagement across key customer accounts.
  • Working with partners, EPCs, and end users to promote and deliver ABB’s electrification products and solutions.
  • Selling ABB Electrification products/solutions with a strong focus on maximizing volume, exceeding profitability targets, and mitigating commercial risk.
  • Monitoring competitor activity in the CoLo market, ensuring ABB responds proactively and stays ahead of market and technology trends.

Qualifications for the role

  • You have 5+ years of commercial experience in high performing sales teams with direct involvement in systems/solutions business and the ABB Electrification Distribution Solutions portfolio.
  • You have advanced skills in the design and execution of commercial plans and strategies within the Datacentre market segment.
  • You are passionate about executive communication and cross-functional collaboration, with strong intercultural and networking skills.
  • You hold a qualification in Engineering or Business Administration and communicate fluently in English. An existing network in the Datacentre industry is a strong asset.
  • You are at ease communicating in English
