Description We are a full-service independent insurance agency seeking an experienced customer service professional to support our Insurance Producers with the sales and service of Commercial Lines Accounts. This position requires you to be fully knowledgeable of the various aspects, coverage, and needs of each account. You will need to become familiar with all carrier rating programs and underwriting guidelines. You will need to assist Producers with the marketing and placement of both new and renewal business. Prompt and efficient customer service is vital in this role. Responsibilities and Duties Work with Producer in developing and closing new business and retaining existing accounts Assist Producer in obtaining all forms required for compliance with agency and company guidelines as needed Marketing and placement of new business Assist Producer in negotiating policy and payment terms & obtaining finance contracts Prepare professional proposals, spreadsheets, documents as needed Understand all aspects of client operations & provide risk evaluation of client exposures by competent coverage review Participate in client presentations & client contact campaigns as needed Order and review policies, order endorsements and review for accuracy, review audits, experience rating modifications and classifications and make recommendations Assist Producer by developing excel spreadsheets that will be shared with the client to maintain certificate lists, driver lists, property schedules, vehicle & equipment lists Issue Binders & set up initial certificates for processing and other necessary forms as needed Review and work pro-actively using renewal timelines, reviewing with Producer 120 days out Communicate issues with both carrier and client to Producer as needed in between monthly reviews Receivable & collection management Review client balances with Producers monthly Requirements Proficient use of AMS360 or Applied EPIC preferred along with working knowledge of: Outlook Excel Word
