JOB SUMMARY:

RICI Contracting is hiring a driven, knowledgeable Account Manager – Contracting & Civil Services to lead business development across two of our most critical divisions:

  • Civil Work: asphalt paving, grading, excavation, demolition, sewer and watermain projects
  • Contracting Maintenance Services: Snow Maintenance, 24/7 roof service, waterproofing, pressure washing, landscaping, interlock, painting, drywall

This is a high-impact sales role for someone who understands both project-based civil construction and recurring property services. You’ll work directly with property managers, general contractors, and developers to drive new business, build long-term relationships, and manage accounts from initial outreach through to close.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3–6 years of B2B sales experience in construction, civil work, or facility services
  • Experience selling to general contractors, developers, or property managers
  • Strong understanding of seasonal services and long-cycle project sales
  • Able to read and understand scopes of work, blueprints, and site plans
  • Confident managing multiple projects and client types at once
  • Highly organized, self-driven, and excellent at follow-up
  • Compensation:
  • Base Salary: $60,000–$85,000
  • Commission:
  • 2% on Contracting revenue (e.g., snow, roofing, maintenance)
  • 2% on Civil revenue (e.g., paving, excavation, demolition)5

Responsibilities
  • Prospect, pitch, and close new clients for both contracting and civil services
  • Attend site visits, understand scopes, and explain proposals
  • Manage full sales cycle: lead generation, quoting, follow-up, close, and handoff
  • Sell recurring service contracts (e.g., snow, grass, maintenance)
  • Navigate both short sales cycles (pressure washing, patching) and long bid cycles (excavation, paving, sewers)
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and report on weekly sales activity
  • Collaborate closely with estimating, operations, and leadership
