JOB DESCRIPTION

Our business is growing, and we are currently looking for a new Territory Sales Account Manager for Calgary and surrounding areas.
Our mission is to bring outstanding Craft selections to Albertan restaurants, retail liquor stores, and the corporate world. Localized travel is required for this position.
This position includes a base salary plus bonus and vehicle allowance.
Primary duties include identifying business opportunities for client(s), building and maintaining successful relationships with prospects and existing clients to grow the brands we represent.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Must have Proserve
  • Must have a reliable vehicle
  • Industry experience or degree would be an asset
  • A valid Alberta driver’s license, registration, insurance and clean driving record
  • Excellent sales skills and a history of strong sales results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation the presentations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with CRM software (Spotio) would be an asset
  • A great understanding of the liquor world and ideally having worked in sales and/or management
  • Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose value-based solutions for clients
Responsibilities
  • Grow liquor sales through daily on-premise and off-premise account relationship development/management with key managers/buyers at target accounts
  • Establish weekly target account lists and sales goals, with the ability to achieve and execute on such goals
  • Track and monitor progress within CRM, manage sales funnel and reporting
  • Use data to identify opportunities for new or expanded distribution, lost sales, incremental volume increases, activity tracking and other business insights
  • Attend team and partner meetings as requested
  • Represent client products at events such as, but not limited to, beer festivals, tastings, and promotions
  • Conduct brand education with retailers, restauranteurs, and consumers
  • Additional duties may be assigned as necessary
