An international company is actively seeking an Account Manager to join their office the greater Chicago, IL area.

Responsibilities of Account Manager :

  • Gather and analyze data on consumers, customers and competitors.
  • Support current key account and maintain good relationships with customer account
  • Provide customer support with consultation regarding orders and shipping/receiving processes etc.
  • Communicate with account manager and suppliers in regards to active orders, logistics tracking, issues with products, etc.
  • Track inventory level and confirm received parts status (condition, damages, quantities etc.)
  • Create reports, ensure accuracy of orders, and follow up on any discrepancies or missing information
  • Work as team for industry trade show preparation and operation
  • Will need to travel rarely for business (Nationwide)
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications of Account Manager :

  • Bachelor Degree with Marketing and/or Business related major
  • Marketing/sales experience in the interior design industry is plus
  • Must have 1-2 years of sales experience
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English
  • Must be able to travel internationally
  • Must be able to travel rarely for work (nationwide)
  • Understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • This position includes working in a manufacturing and/or warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
