We’re looking for an Account Manager I to join our High Velocity Direct Sales team and drive success for our SMB clients through strategic onboarding, client enablement, and smart digital adoption.
About the Job
As an Account Manager I in our High Velocity Direct Sales team, you’ll be a trusted advisor to a growing portfolio of small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), helping them adopt digital tools, improve retention, and unlock new growth. You’ll own the onboarding experience, lead performance reviews, and play a critical role in helping clients transition to Vendasta’s platform and services, especially as part of our Partner Take Over strategy. This is a role for someone who’s passionate about consultative selling, has high attention to detail, and thrives on building strong client relationships that drive real business outcomes.
Your Impact

As an Account Manager I, you’ll work with our High Velocity Sales team, Account Executives, and cross-functional partners to:

  • Conduct 12–16 strategic sales or success calls daily, including onboarding, check-ins, and business reviews
  • Lead SMB onboarding and ensure full platform adoption within the first 60 days
  • Identify upsell opportunities in your book of business and route them to the Account Executive team
  • Execute on “Partner Take Over” transitions by onboarding acquired SMB clients and ensuring successful migration to the Broadly brand
  • Maintain strong retention, drive platform engagement, and support revenue growth through regular client enablement and follow-up
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance prep, communication, and documentation across the sales process
  • Collaborate with Regional Account Managers and travel as needed to support in-market client engagements

What You Bring to the Table

  • 3+ years of B2B sales or client-facing experience, ideally in a high-velocity or SMB-focused environment
  • Proven track record of managing a book of business and driving client retention, platform adoption, and revenue growth
  • Strong consultative selling skills, with experience leading onboarding, check-ins, and strategic business reviews
  • Proficiency using CRM tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Outreach to manage pipeline and document client activity
  • Comfortable leveraging AI-enabled tools (e.g., email generators, call summaries, auto-research) to increase efficiency and personalization
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills — able to quickly build rapport and influence decision-makers
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage a large volume of daily interactions in a performance-driven environment
  • Adaptable and quick to learn new products, sales tactics, and market changes
  • Experience with digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta) is an asset
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for in-market meetings with high-value clients
