Description
About Ecolab At Ecolab, our purpose is simple and powerful: we help make the world cleaner, safer and healthier. Every day, our people protect vital resources and support industries that communities rely on — from mining and manufacturing to food, water and healthcare. As the global leader in water, hygiene and process technologies, Ecolab partners with customers to operate safely, efficiently and sustainably. With over 47,000 associates worldwide, we combine global capability with strong local presence — including right here in Western Australia’s Goldfields. About the Role We’re looking for a hands‑on, technically minded Account Manager to join our Water Mining team, supporting key mining customers across the Kalgoorlie and Goldfields region. This role is ideal for someone who: Enjoys being out on site, solving real technical problems Values strong relationships and trust over hard selling Wants a role with purpose, variety and long‑term career development Is seeking flexibility and support to balance career and life You’ll work closely with mine site teams, applying your technical skills to improve water and process performance while building meaningful, long‑term partnerships. While the title is Account Manager, this is a consultative, technical and practical role, not a desk‑based sales job. Local connection matters — we strongly encourage applications from people based in Kalgoorlie or the WA Goldfields, or those seeking to build a sustainable, long‑term career in the region. Travel is an important part of connecting with our customers (approximately 30% overnight travel), and comprehensive technical and sales training will be provided — we invest in your growth from day one. What You’ll Be Doing Supporting mining customers through hands‑on service, site visits and field trials Conducting equipment testing, water sampling and chemical analysis Ensuring optimal application of process and water treatment programs Troubleshooting technical challenges with confidence and collaboration Working alongside experienced Account Managers to grow and strengthen accounts Managing customer inventories and coordinating product delivery Building trusted relationships through reliable, value‑adding service Learning and applying best‑practice in mining process and water treatment systems What We’re Looking For We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds and encourage applications from women and under‑represented groups in mining and technical roles. You’ll thrive in this role if you bring: Strong communication skills and a natural ability to build rapport A practical, mechanical or technical mindset Confidence working independently across remote sites Curiosity, resilience and a desire to keep learning A genuine commitment to safety, wellbeing and environmental care Technical Experience (Preferred but Not Essential) Experience in mineral processing, water treatment, mechanical or technical roles Exposure to mining operations or industrial environments Strong problem‑solving and technical reasoning ability A current driver’s licence If you don’t tick every box but bring the right attitude and aptitude — we still want to hear from you. What’s In It for You At Ecolab, we know that great work happens when people feel supported, valued and empowered. Some of the benefits you’ll enjoy include: Flexible working arrangements $250 annual health & wellbeing subsidy Option to purchase additional annual leave + MY Days bonus leave Competitive salary with bonus and incentive opportunities Ongoing technical, leadership and career development Staff product discounts Access to the Ecolab holiday house in Lake Taupo, New Zealand Employee Stock Purchase Plan Life at Ecolab Our culture is built on three core behaviours: People First One United ANZ Ecolab Team Owning the Outcome We believe diverse teams create better solutions.
