JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a motivated Contract Account Manager to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area. As an Account Manager, you will promote and sell natural health products to the natural, organic and wellness industry. You’ll support our sales efforts by building strong relationships with healthcare professionals and product vendors while driving our products into the retail sales channel.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the natural health industry
  • Strong communication, negotiation and mathematical skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
  • Exceptional understanding of the customer service and sales processes
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Motivated to exceed sales targets and find new business
  • Follow procedures and understand procedure design
  • A positive can-do attitude
  • Desire to improve and grow the company
  • Interest in natural health, wellness and the environment
  • High drive to be constantly learning
  • A reliable car and a valid driver’s license (for travel to customer locations)
Responsibilities
  • Manage new and existing accounts within the assigned territory
  • Coordinate marketing and advertising initiates with accounts
  • Drive current brands sales in the assigned territory
  • Initiate new business development including new brands into the assigned territory
  • Organize and provide educational trainings and product demonstrations with retailers
  • Be present at trade shows, when necessary
  • Enthusiastically promote the company’s brands and products
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Complete monthly sales reports
  • Collect commonly asked questions and feedback for research and product development purposes
  • Curate great relationships with health and wellness partners
  • Cold calling when leads are provided
  • Working cooperatively with other team members
