Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Account Manager is responsible for a defined geographical area and the customers assigned to him. He is responsible for the incoming orders/sales budget, while adhering to the price guidelines. This includes the organization and planning of measures to increase incoming orders/sales, acquire new customers and introduce new products and systems. The Account Manager knows the needs of his customers and is responsible for ensuring that these are channeled at ABB and satisfied in the best possible way.

THEY ARE MAINLY RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Acquiring customers (defined target groups) for ABB and establishing or maintaining an intensive customer relationship.
  • Develop and ensure individual, solution- and value-based cooperation between ABB and customers
  • Commercial negotiations and agreements in the cooperation at decision maker level with growth orientation for customer and ABB
  • (Further) develop customer target group in the technical and marketing competence of our product and system solutions
  • Continuous optimization of collaboration with a focus on individual needs
  • Manage customer feedback and bring it into the organization
  • Ensure customer use of ABB software tools/configurators

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

  • Training as a master electrician, electrical engineer or commercial training with a technical affinity
  • Experience in sales of technical products and systems is desirable
  • Expansion of the existing network
  • Knowledge of the electrical wholesale and electrical installation market in Germany
  • Very good knowledge of German
