Responsibilities

THE ROLE.

As an Account Manager, you’ll play an integral role in delivering fantastic work for our clients. You’ll have an excellent understanding of the social media landscape and how it fits into integrated marketing campaigns. You’ll be comfortable liaising closely with clients and stakeholders at a senior level, and work collaboratively with our creative, design and production teams to effectively manage projects through from briefing to asset delivery.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES.

Project management: You’ll be comfortable with the often fast-paced, plate-spinning nature of agency life, overseeing the daily always-on output of the account by developing budgets, timelines and SOWs. You’ll also be confident at distilling client briefs or business problems by translating them into marketing, communication or social objectives. You’ll be adept at working closely with the creative & production teams to ensure work remains on track, on brief and is delivered on time. You’ll also have a sound understanding of paid media, offering support and recommendations to the creative, client and paid teams where necessary. You’ll be an incredibly organised and process driven individual, with enough initiative to take a project by the horns and own it from start to finish.
Client management: Working with clients at a senior level, you’ll be responsible for keeping clients informed of new social initiatives and opportunities for the continued development of the clients business. Well versed in the art of managing expectations and constructively pushing back where needed. You’ll also have fantastic communication skills, be a great presenter and all-round email and communication wizard.
Quality control: You’ll be the brand guardian of your account, preventing any work that isn’t up to scratch or on-brand from leaving the building (or home office!).
Commercial: You’ll have a strong understanding of managing campaign and production budgets and be able to identify opportunities for upselling in the event of underspend.
Reporting: You’ll have experience pulling monthly or quarterly reports for your clients, analysing performance data across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and be comfortable presenting that data back to clients alongside learnings and content optimisation recommendations.
Team support: You’ll have some experience managing junior team members with the ability to oversee workload, provide direction and delegate tasks. As well as manage upwards to senior management where necessary.
