This is not a traditional Account Manager role. At our client, Account Managers own fulfillment end-to-end and are accountable for client success, performance, and growth. They do not personally run ads or build GHL funnels but everything that happens in fulfillment runs through them. ROLE SUMMARY An Account Manager is the owner of the client outcome. From the moment a client pays until they are consistently growing revenue, the Account Manager is responsible for: Making sure every step of fulfillment happens correctly Coordinating specialists (media buyers, copywriters, editors, GHL experts) Proactively communicating progress and performance Catching issues early and fixing them Ensuring clients see results, clarity, and momentum If fulfillment breaks, stalls, or underperforms this role owns fixing it. WHAT THEY ARE / ARE NOT THEY ARE: The single point of ownership for the client Responsible for success, performance, and retention A coordinator of specialists, not a doer of specialist tasks Measured on results, not friendliness THEY ARE NOT: The media buyer The GHL expert The copywriter The editor Those roles report into fulfillment, but the Account Manager owns the outcome. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES (END-TO-END FULFILLMENT) Account Managers are responsible for every step of fulfillment, including: Owning the client relationship after close Running onboarding and ensuring systems are live Coordinating content production, ads, and funnels Enforcing timelines and deliverables Reviewing work for quality and brand alignment Green-lighting launches Monitoring performance and pipeline health Communicating results and next steps weekly They ensure nothing falls through the cracks. PERFORMANCE OWNERSHIP (NON-NEGOTIABLE) Account Managers are accountable for: Client growth and retention Appointment volume and pipeline health Cost per appointment efficiency Content velocity and quality Clear weekly communication They are expected to understand performance metrics, even if they are not the technical executor. REQUIRED BACKGROUND Candidates must have experience in at least one of the following: Marketing or lead generation agency High-ticket service fulfillment Managing multiple client accounts simultaneously Performance-driven or operations-driven environments They must be comfortable managing 10-15 active clients.
