About the role We're not actively hiring for this role right now, but we're always happy to connect with strong candidates and talk about what the future could look like. Account Managers at Openprovider own commercial expansion inside our existing customer base - growing revenue and margin through retention, upgrades, and product adoption, while reducing lifecycle friction and improving customer experience. Key responsibilities Expansion & Revenue Growth Identify and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities across domains, security, and infrastructure products Drive membership upgrades based on usage, complexity, and value realization Actively build and manage an expansion pipeline, not just react to inbound demand Lifecycle Management Proactively manage account health across onboarding, activation, usage, and renewal Reduce churn by identifying risk early and acting before renewal moments Increase attach rates of add-on products (SSL, DNS, email, etc.) Onboarding & Time to Value Ensure new customers reach operational usage quickly Remove friction in onboarding, integration, and first transactions Align onboarding with real customer use cases, not generic flows Customer Insight & Feedback Loop Act as structured voice of the customer, not anecdotal Feed recurring friction, feature gaps, and opportunities into Product and Marketing Contribute to improving lifecycle flows, not just handling issues Commercial Discipline Maintain high-quality CRM hygiene and forecasting Use data to prioritise accounts and opportunities Balance effort between high-value accounts and scalable growth What we are looking for Commercial Drive Sees and acts on revenue opportunities within existing accounts, pushes for the deal without damaging trust Customer Intelligence Understands customer business models, not just their requests Technical Understanding Able to explain APIs, integrations, and infrastructure products in a practical, outcome-driven way Communication Clear, direct, and structured in both customer and internal conversations Data-Driven Execution Uses metrics to guide actions, not intuition alone Ownership & Energy Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable operating without constant direction Nice to have What we offer 100% Remote Work Work from anywhere in the world: we’re a fully remote company with no mandatory office presence. ⏰ Flexible Working Hours Organize your schedule in a way that works best for you and your productivity. Responsibilities
Drive commercial expansion within the existing customer base through upselling, cross-selling, and membership upgrades. Proactively manage account health and the customer lifecycle to reduce churn and improve onboarding time-to-value.
