Location: Hybrid – Rossendale, Lancashire (2–3 days office-based)
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)

About the Role
We’re looking for an energetic, personable and detail-oriented Account Manager to join a growing B2B business in the chemical manufacturing sector.
This is a hybrid role, working partly from a modern Lancashire office and partly from home. You’ll be managing your own portfolio of customers, handling everything from quotes and follow-ups to onboarding and account development. You’ll also support the wider sales effort by nurturing new leads and ensuring smooth collaboration between sales, technical and customer service teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing a portfolio of UK-based B2B customer accounts
  • Preparing quotes, tracking opportunities, and ensuring accurate CRM data
  • Following up with existing and potential customers to keep the pipeline moving
  • Collaborating with technical and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and product delivery
  • Supporting sales reporting, forecasting and lead generation activities
  • Coordinating customer samples, meetings, and technical support

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in account management, sales support, or inside sales
  • B2B experience essential (manufacturing, technical or chemical sectors preferred)
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong attention to detail with CRM and quoting processes
  • Confident with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce or similar)
  • UK-based with ability to attend the Rossendale office 2–3 days per week
