This position will involve a mix of home-working and field-based work, as well as a monthly face-to-face meeting at our head office in Belfast.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Management, to include:

    • Liaising with & negotiating client needs- Arranging & managing Green Field Marketing resources to meet those needs- Proactive problem-solving with clients- Reviews & proposals- Revenue collection- Co-ordinating and presentating timely and accurate activity/perfomance reports- Proactive Anaysis of reports leading to insights and Continuous improvement in performance Management

    • Field Management, to include:

    • Co-ordination of field staff & equipment- Co-ordination with suppliers- Scheduled reviews with clients- Proactive approach to Continuous Improvement, problem solving and innovation- Management of client revenue streams- Management of field staff, as well as HR-related issues

    • Budget and Plan Objectives, to include:

    • Contributing to Green Field Marketing’s Gross Profit Targets- Costing individual contracts and projects- Capturing all projected costs and time required- Planning for optimum Efficiency- Negotiating costs with client’s and suppliers to ensure ‘Win Win’- Client activity analysis- Actively managing & developing client relationships- Reviewing & proposing new revenue streams from existing clients & new clients- Ensuring that all personnel (field & office) are briefed on period plans and that a comprehensive period action plan is compiled & distributed.- Ensure that all account executives are fully briefed on all jobs.- Liase with consultants regarding gaining contract work with their existing clients.

    • Business Development, to include:

    • Communication, to include:
    • Other duties to include managing and coaching direct reports, working with HR for the identification and selection of candidates, and the management and use of relevant software.Person Specification
    • You will have account management experience, preferably within the FMCG industry.
    • Experience managing direct reports (both office and field based), to include coordination of workload, performance management, and managing issues relating to contracted staff - employment contracts, procedures, etc.
    • Experience managing both contracted employees and adhoc workers.
    • Experience costing projects.
    • Experience developing both existing and new business.
    • Experience using a range of software for the coordination and management of personnel and projects.
    • Experience interviewing and being involved in the hiring of new staff.
