QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of sales experience in the B2B automotive industry, with a focus on electric vehicles or commercial fleets preferred.

  • Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Singapore commercial automotive market and electric vehicle trends, particularly in fleet management and corporate sustainability.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and sales analytics tools.
Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new B2B business opportunities for BYD’s electric vehicles within the Singaporean market, targeting corporate fleets, government agencies, and commercial organizations.
  • Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and execute tailored sales strategies to achieve corporate sales targets, enhance market share, and foster long-term partnerships with business clients.
  • Lead Generation & Networking: Generate qualified leads through industry events, corporate networking, partnerships, and direct outreach to key decision-makers within businesses.
  • Client Engagement: Conduct detailed product demonstrations and presentations to business clients, addressing specific fleet or organizational needs and showcasing the benefits of BYD’s EV offerings.
  • Consultative Selling: Understand the unique requirements of business clients and provide tailored EV solutions that optimize cost-efficiency, sustainability, and operational performance.
  • Sales Negotiation & Closure: Negotiate complex deals and contracts, ensuring alignment with client goals while maximizing value for both BYD and the business customer. Focus on long-term, strategic relationships.
  • Market Intelligence: Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments related to electric vehicles and sustainable transport solutions for businesses.
  • Customer Feedback & Insights: Provide valuable insights and feedback to the management team to support product development, marketing strategies, and strategic partnerships.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key business clients and stakeholders, focusing on customer satisfaction and long-term collaboration.
  • Post-Sales Support & Client Retention: Ensure smooth post-sales implementation, address client concerns promptly, and foster repeat business through superior customer service and follow-ups.
  • Sales Administration: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status through CRM tools. Prepare and present comprehensive sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for management.
