Why you will love this opportunity as an Account Manager at Civica As an Account Manager within Civica’s Health & Care team, you’ll play a key role in building and maintaining long term relationships with our existing customers across our Dox and other hospital products. Your focus will be on customer retention, upselling additional solutions, and identifying cross-sell opportunities, all while achieving your sales targets. You’ll take the time to understand each customer’s challenges and business priorities, aligning Civica’s solutions to deliver real value now and into the future. This is your chance to maximise the lifetime value of your customers during Civica’s FY26 “Year of the Customer.” Key Responsibilities: Build strong, strategic partnerships with customers, helping them solve challenges and achieve their goals through Civica’s solutions. Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the Health & Care business. Develop and execute account plans to maximise customer value and identify whitespace opportunities. Manage the full sales cycle, from preparation and engagement through to deal closure and handover to delivery. Understand the competitive landscape and position Civica effectively by highlighting our differentiators. Collaborate with internal teams, including Product, Engineering, Service, and Support, to ensure customer success and identify growth opportunities. Conduct regular strategic customer meetings to strengthen engagement, gather feedback, and support pipeline development. Deliver strategic customer business reviews and reporting sessions. Represent Civica at key industry events such as the Day Hospital Conference, with a clear engagement strategy. Partner with Customer Success and Marketing teams to deliver user group webinars that drive engagement and showcase added value. Contribute insights to shape future product and service roadmaps by identifying repeatable customer challenges. Adapt and evolve your role as needed to meet the changing needs of the business. What you will need to be successful in this role Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to lead strategic meetings with executives and deliver clear, impactful presentations. Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Excellent business acumen with a commercial and strategic focus. Strong negotiation skills and sound contractual knowledge. Sales experience in hospital software environments, with an understanding of the needs and challenges faced by doctors and surgeons. A track record of maintaining accurate pipelines, delivering reliable forecasts, and consistently achieving targets. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify obstacles, think critically, and implement effective solutions. Strategic use of Salesforce or other CRM systems to manage accounts, track opportunities, and drive sales performance. Willingness and ability to travel as required.
