Job Description Hunter Account Manager Rockwell Automation is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Account Manager (Hunter) to spearhead growth in emerging industries. This role is focused on identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities in strategic sectors such as Data Centres, Semiconductor, Renewable Energy, Shipbuilding, Defense and new emerging areas. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong hunter mentality, and is passionate about driving innovation through automation solutions. You needs to be passionate about selling in a high-stake challenging space. You will report to the Sales Leader-EPC& Hunters and work onsite in Ahmedabad Your Responsibilities Identify and pursue new accounts in target industries. Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for emerging sectors. Build a robust pipeline of opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking. Skills: Hunter mentality with desire to open new accounts. Experience with automation, control systems, and digital transformation. Navigate complex sales cycles and influence senior stakeholders. Translate market trends into relevant sales strategies. Understanding of these industries, application. What are the important priorities of these industries and what these customers are prioritising for themselves. Have customer connect. Creative seller curious about customer goals& business insights. The Essentials - You Will Have: Engineering professional with at least 10 years of Sales experience in strategic sales or account management within Industrial Selling & Automation. Excellent Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects. Translate customer needs into relevant solutions. Abilities of business diversification The Preferred - You Might Also Have: Understanding of manufacturing trends, industrial automation technologies (like Automation and controls, Motion, Drives, Safety products), and customer goals in End-user segments. Work on assigned accounts and aligned actions with business goals. Familiarity with IT/OT convergence, industrial automation platforms, and digital tools like CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) or data analytics platforms.
