WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience with technical, customized products, preferably in the Automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of how to generate leads, network, prospect, and cold call. Experience selling direct to OEM’s is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to inform others concerning risks and rewards while participating in decision-making and create compelling and effective presentations.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with outstanding energy, determination, and judgement.
  • Willing and able to travel up to 35% domestically and internationally.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

SNAPSHOT OF THE ROLE

As an Account Manager with Husco, you are responsible for sales efforts in the global marketplace by developing and maintaining an ever-improving relationship with assigned accounts. You will maintain current accounts and gain new business through cold-calling and lead generation that achieves or exceeds target margins. You will often serve as a technical liaison and ensure that service is maintained at the highest level and that all customer issues are resolved expeditiously and professionally.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Strong Product Knowledge: Intimately understand Husco’s products, as well as understand our customer applications and systems. This may include hydraulic control systems, power train, hydraulic pumps, engines, and various automobile systems.
  • Voice of the Customer: Responsible for being the interface between customers and members of Husco. Effectively communicate between all levels and disciplines within Husco and our customers. Strong relationships with key customer program personnel. Listen to customer concerns and issues and communicate to the appropriate company members to ensure quick resolution to the concern.
  • New Business Development: Responsible for calling on new customers, investigating new opportunities, and for identifying and presenting potential sales revenue opportunities for Husco to consider. This includes prospecting and cold calling.
  • Cost File & Quotation Development: Work with VP or Director of Sales and Business development to ensure pricing is competitive and to achieve targeted profit margins. Responsible for ensuring key members of Husco understand the applications and time constraints for critical functional groups to compile formal cost information. Responsible for finalizing and reviewing the cost model and quotation and working closely with management to develop appropriate customer pricing.
