IFF is growing and we are looking for a Key Account Manager (Flavors) based in Casablanca, Morocco to join our business. The territory this position will oversee will be the West African market where 60% of travel is required. We’re looking for an experienced candidate who has a proven industry record of accomplishment. Where You’ll Make a Difference: Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) of local customers within the area. Understand customer strategy, organization, and products. Deeply understand and leverage internationally IFF’s organization, capabilities, proprietary technologies, resources, product and service offerings. Position IFF as a strategic trusted partner by co-creating winning value propositions that satisfy customer needs. Be the face of IFF – act as primary contact for customers in the region. Develop deep customer relationships at all levels, through intensive networking and providing best in class customer experience. Work with cross functional and cultural teams through complex, technically challenging projects. Identify/create new business opportunities for IFF in the area, develop and execute plans to generate project pipeline and new sales. Keep close contact to all internal stakeholders like e.g., Innovation, Creation & Design, Marketing and Business Units on relevant projects, pricing, market developments etc. What Makes You The Right Fit Experience in food ingredients business with desired knowledge on Flavors and Flavor sales. Structed approach to customers Degree in Business or Food Technology / Food Engineering preferred. Fluent French, Arabic and English language skills. Minimum 2-3 years of working experience within Food Ingredients & Flavors business. Located and experienced with the Moroccan Food/Flavor in the West African market would be of benefit. Demonstrated business and commercial acumen. Well-developed set of selling and account management skills, ability to adapt working style across the customer base. Well-developed negotiations skills. Proven project management skills where full ownership of driving new business opportunities is clearly demonstrated by coordinating all team members to achieve business objectives.
