OVERVIEW:

The Account Manager Trainee program is an intensive 12-month program designed to teach you the fundamentals of recruitment. The goal is to train you to manage key client relationships, drive revenue, and lead a team of recruiters. The focus of this role is business development. Your main objective is to build relationships with senior & executive-level stakeholders across various organizations in order to market our services and uncover profitable hiring opportunities.
ABOUT US: Martin Recruitment is a specialized recruitment agency based out of Edmonton. We hire for professional roles within accounting, finance, software, IT, administration, customer support & government. Since our launch, our firm has seen extremely rapid growth, and we’re looking for the right future leaders to continue scaling.

Key responsibilities:

  • Uncover profitable recruitment opportunities in the Edmonton area by building relationships with senior & executive stakeholders across various organizations.
  • Pitch service proposals to prospective clients.
  • Spearhead B2B marketing campaigns.
  • Help clients define the hiring criteria for their open roles.
  • Oversee the fulfillment of open roles.
  • Negotiate contract terms such as fees, durations, guarantees, and process.
  • Full cycle recruitment duties as needed.
  • Performance manage contract workers.
  • Attend networking events.

Must Have Qualifications:

  • Must have 2+ years of sales or customer service experience.
  • Must have polished communication & presentation skills.
  • Must be able to learn new softwares and programs quickly.
  • Must be able to think critically and troubleshoot problems independently.

LIKE TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree - BCOM or Accounting-focus is preferred.
  • Previous B2B sales experience.
  • Previous Accounting experience.
