JOB SUMMARY:

In the role of Account Manager for Industrial key accounts, you will be working with confectioners, bakeries, distillers, and food distributors. You will execute our industrial strategy and develop meaningful relationships with our valued customers. We are always looking for new ways to enhance the customer experience and you will serve a critical role in our evolution. You will report to an experienced leader who believes people are at their best when they feel self-confident in a positive work environment. You will have the chance to voice your opinion on process improvements and grow your internal network, gaining opportunities to learn and enhance your career growth.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • College Diploma/University degree in Business or related discipline (or relevant experience);
  • You have at least 7+ years experience in sales;
  • Experience in the food and agri-food industry is a plus;
  • Ability to influence at Buyer level and inspire confidence across all areas of the business, both within the company and with customers;
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in English and French in order to interact with both our English and French speaking sites;
  • Proven team spirit; Engaging, driven and dynamic personality;
  • Computer skills, with a comprehensive knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • You’re a creative problem solver that has a consistent track record of taking initiative;
  • Proactively search for process improvements;
  • You are a continuous learner and not afraid of challenges. If you don’t know something, you’re excited about learning more and figure out a solution;
  • You have top-shelf, strong interpersonal and high emotional intelligence;

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships;
  • Partner cross functionally to address any customer issues in a timely fashion;
  • Deliver profit, net revenue, and volume targets for your accounts
  • Build account plans;
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities;
  • Lead the negotiation of contracts and close agreements to maximize profits;
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts;
  • Develop a proficiency in sugar market dynamics;
  • Develop an expert level understanding of our product portfolio;
  • Manage commodity contracts;
  • Build volume and revenue forecasts.
