DESCRIPTION

We are currently looking for a self-motivated individual to become an integral part of our team at our Peterborough location.
As an Industrial Account Manager, your responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants should have the following qualifications:

  • Three years of sales or related experience is preferred
  • Grade 12 education (or equivalent)
  • Product knowledge of the electrical business is required
Responsibilities
  • Meeting with account customers to discuss topics of concern, service issues and product competition. He\she will offer promotional incentives and negotiate terms of account.
  • Cultivating key business relationships within the assigned territory. Maintains good rapport and informs customers of sales promotions to foster a high level of service and sales.
  • Researching his\her territory to determine new and potential customers and to develop those accounts.
  • Acting as a liaison to resolve customer concerns and complaints.
  • To maintain and increase sales and profitability within the Account Manager’s set account portfolio
  • Completing all related account and sales reporting documents in a timely manner.
  • Proactively making joint vendor sales calls on, and cultivating existing and new customers in the Peterborough area.
