Description

Develop business for bronze and other selected customers, incl. range selling, cross-selling & value based pricing;

  • Execute remote sales activities: prepare, coordinate, negotiate, close proposals, respond to RFQs. I
  • Identify high potential accounts and set strategies for converting prospects.
  • Identify, prioritize and contact prospects. Manage customer related initiatives / projects.
  • Maintain CRM, complete relevant reporting, etc.
  • Responsible for the delivery of monthly / quarterly / annual EBITDA, cash flow and budgeted targets using effective sales techniques and the company’s sales procedures.
  • Manage accounts against set targets, including mandatory sales call quotas each month.
  • Awareness of market conditions and trends including competitor activity and market relating to individual products
  • Open and develop new trading accounts.
  • Maintain appropriate level of product knowledge, including attendance at product training.
  • Continually seek new market and product sales opportunities
  • Liaise with appropriate BDMs to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Monitor, evaluate and report on competitor’s activities in order to identify sales opportunities.
  • Contribute to industry and company product development to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Liaise and work closely with other members of the sales team to ensure the customer’s requirements are fulfilled efficiently and effectively.

Reporting

  • Completion of Visit Reports on a daily basis, allowing relevant members of the sales support team to follow up any actions
  • Completion of Monthly Reports within the defined period, including analysis of the sales area and details supporting numbers

General

  • Proactively assist in managing Working Capital targets for the depot, including the reduction of bad debtors
  • Contribute to the budgeting process by forecasting sales and profit within the sales area.
  • Ensure that the depot operates within the stated company quality assurance procedures and legal requirements, at all times.
  • Any other reasonable duties assigned by the Regional Sales Manager and/or General Manager as deemed necessary from time to time.
