Account Manager – Renewable Heating Solutions Location: Exeter (Hybrid) Contract: Permanent, Full-Time Base Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (dependent on experience) + Benefits Bonus Scheme: Company performance-related pay plan with uncapped earning potential. As an Account Manager at Kensa, you will build and maintain strong commercial relationships with Plumbing & Heating Engineers, installation partners, and end users exploring or adopting ground source heat pump (GSHP) technology. Leveraging Kensa’s award-winning product range, you will identify suitable GSHP opportunities, clearly communicate their technical and commercial benefits, prepare accurate proposals, and convert opportunities into confirmed orders. Your work will expand Kensa’s national reach, help households and businesses reduce energy costs, and support the UK’s journey to net zero. What you'll do: Build and maintain strong relationships with installers, clients, architects, and stakeholders. Identify and qualify GSHP opportunities, presenting Kensa’s technical and commercial advantages confidently. Prepare accurate proposals and convert opportunities into confirmed orders. Ensure smooth project handovers to technical and manufacturing teams. Maintain accurate CRM records and manage your pipeline effectively. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Technical teams to support installer onboarding and customer success. Represent Kensa at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events across the UK when required. Continuously develop your technical knowledge of GSHP systems and funding routes. What you'll bring Proven experience in sales or account management within a technical environment OR a strong background in the heating, plumbing, or renewable energy sector with transferable skills and a desire to develop commercially. Excellent communication and presentation skills for varied audiences. IT proficiency (Excel, Word) and familiarity with CRM systems. A proactive, adaptable mindset and passion for sustainability.
