Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to build strong customer relationships while managing the complete lifecycle of customer orders. This role serves as the primary liaison between customers, sales, customer service, and production to ensure orders are processed accurately, delivered on time, and exceed customer expectations. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, is highly organized, communicates effectively, and thrives on providing exceptional customer service. Work Schedule Requirement This position supports our Ohio manufacturing facility and requires availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time (EST). Applicants must be able to consistently work these hours regardless of their location or time zone. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities to increase sales within assigned accounts. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the order process. Coordinate communication between customers, sales, customer service, and production. Enter and manage customer purchase orders using the Label Traxx ERP system. Maintain customer master data and account information. Manage the daily flow of customer orders from receipt through shipment. Monitor production schedules and provide customers with accurate order status updates. Review pricing, confirm charges, and maintain pricing grids. Coordinate artwork approvals and proofing with customers and the art department. Manage blanket orders and customer inventory programs. Review daily shipping schedules and ensure orders are shipped accurately. Handle rush orders and prioritize customer needs appropriately. Process customer inquiries, complaints, credits, and payment-related issues. Prepare sales reports, purchasing trends, inventory reports, and account analyses. Assist with estimate preparation and follow-up activities. Support new account setup, account transitions, and special projects. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Participate in required training and company development programs. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Associate degree or technical education preferred. Minimum of two years of customer service or account management experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience within the printing, packaging, or label manufacturing industry is strongly preferred. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Experience with ERP systems such as Label Traxx is a plus.
