The Life Science Account Manager (d/f/m) is responsible for owning, managing, and growing our microscopy business in the broader Hannover, Göttingen, Kassel area. This role involves maintaining existing accounts, finding new customers to reach growth targets, and developing strategies to win new business through advanced geographic key account planning, account mapping, and networking.
Additionally, the Account Manager (d/f/m) will deploy, coordinate, and leverage our Leica team of Advanced Workflow Specialists, Product Sales Specialists, Marketing colleagues, and Channel Partners to ensure customers are engaging with the right people at the right times. They will be the decision-maker on how we serve our customers in the defined geographic account area, manage opportunities and the sales funnel proactively to produce accurate forecasts for business planning, and be customer-facing and proactive, with an expectation to be on-site with customers three days a week. Regular weekly reporting on the sales funnel and other key metrics is also required.
This position reports to the responsible sales manager and is part of the Central Europe Sales Team. The position is fully remote to cover the specified sales region.
