Your Responsibilities
Lockton is currently seeking an Account Manager for the Financial Services Unit. The Account Manager is responsible for the servicing and marketing needs of Lockton clients for Executive Risk coverages under the direct supervision of the Unit Manager and in accordance with Lockton procedures. This position also provides support to assigned Account Executives by executing essential duties on accounts. Will consider training applicants with 2-3 years’ Property/Casualty experience who are interested in learning Executive Risk coverage.

Essential Duties

  • Print expiration list 120 days out for monthly renewal meeting
  • Prepare “renewal worksheets” and give to AM/AE 1-2 days prior to renewal meeting (if applicable)
  • Attend any internal/external pre-renewal meetings with CID
  • Send renewal letter to client (within a week of renewal meeting) and save
  • Update expiration report
  • Pull public documents (if applicable)
  • Run market cap (if applicable)
  • Review and summarize application differences
  • Submit information to market(s) when assigned
  • Receive and review quotes on assigned accounts
  • Compose proposal on assigned accounts
  • Update client spreadsheets as assigned
  • Request premium finance quote (if applicable)
  • Compare carrier binder to quotes
  • Forward primary binders to excess carriers
  • Update final and bound including MCC when applicable
  • Update marketing summary/post-binding checklist
  • Compose email to client attaching invoice, binder/policy, etc.
  • File surplus lines (if applicable)
  • Check policies and follow up with underwriter for any changes needed
  • Update final and bound to summary stage
  • Order and follow up mid-term ends
  • Request fee letters from CID
  • Review certificate requests
  • Request certificates and send to client
  • Maintain AE expiration lists
  • Accounting discrepancies
  • Manage article/white paper distribution to clients
