Responsibilities / Position overview:
Stripe Communications is looking for an ambitious, smart-thinking Account Manager to join the team in Edinburgh.

Responsibilities
  • Developing editorial strategy and creative tactics that positively promote clients
  • Managing a busy press office to secure proactive coverage, and handling reactive enquiries
  • Propose, organise and facilitate events with key media and influencers, securing high quality coverage in return
  • Proactively pitch creative ideas, content and campaign tactics to drive media coverage and social engagement that aligns with the clients’ objectives
  • Negotiate, liaise and manage relationships with third party partners, and paid influencers etc where relevant
  • Agile hybrid working with office presence two days a week (Monday mandatory)
    Qualifications:


    • A passion for PR and delivering great work for clients

    • Strong journalist contacts across consumer, hospitality, lifestyle and business press, as well as national news and broadcast
    • Strong writing and presentation skills
    • Confidence and excellent communication skills
    • A positive ‘can do’ attitude – a self-starter and team player, adept at working collaboratively
    • An ability to think creatively
    • Experience of working under pressure and at a fast pace (ability to meet deadlines)
