MacGregor is looking to hire a proactive and results-oriented candidate to join our team.
MacGregor is a leading provider of integrated cargo and load handling solutions for the maritime industry. Our equipment is installed on more than half of vessels worldwide, enhancing efficiency, safety, and sustainability for shipowners and operators. We pride ourselves on delivering world-class support to ensure the optimal performance of our equipment and are seeking an Account Manager who shares our commitment to exceptional service.
This role is part of our Global Services Division. Reporting directly to the Regional Account Manager. This position is based in Malaysia.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales plans and budgets for assigned geography, market segment, or customers, including forecasting, monitoring performance, and adapting strategies as needed
  • Negotiate sales with existing and new customers, pursuing leads and exceeding targets through scheduled visits and proactive action plans
  • Contribute to sales strategies by providing market intelligence, understanding trends, and supporting product/service knowledge and internal procedures
  • Collect and update market/customer information (including installed base), report on competitor activity, and share with relevant teams
  • Responsible for services sales including spare parts, maintenance and projects
  • Ensure order/delivery follow-up, escalate customer relationship issues, and pursue account receivables with support from the controller
  • Maintain and update customer and business information on CRM system
  • Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders to address customers’ requirements and increase customers’ satisfaction
  • Produce visit reports and handle other projects as assigned
