ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

McDougall Energy is looking for an outgoing enthusiastic individual with a strong customer service approach for the position of Account Manager within the Residential Market. Reporting to the Account Manager Supervisor, the Account Manager, residential Sales will ensure outstanding customer experience is being delivered to existing and prospective customers while supporting the Residential Sales Team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Educating current customers on propane, heating oil, service plans and associated services.
  • Preparing credit applications, customer information sheets, Account Cancellation, and any other required paperwork.
  • Identifying opportunities to upsell to customers, based on the products and services offered.
  • Responding to incoming consumer calls for home heating product inquiries.
  • Conducting ongoing customer needs analysis through quality-of-service calls and research of customer trends and requirements.
  • Resolving customer concerns to resolution; may involve working cross functionally with various departments.
  • Working in collaboration with the Territory Manager’s to maximize team effectiveness.
  • Maintaining and building committed relationships with customers and industry associations for business development.
  • Ensuring retention (via proactive calls) and maintaining overall customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining knowledge of competitive offers. Review and make recommendations to improve our offer in the Residential Market.
