Job Title Account Manager - MEA (Commercial Flooring) Position Overview Shaw Contract is a global design leader in commercial flooring for some of the world’s most creative and innovative environments. Our vast, sustainable product offerings can be found in diverse markets such as workplace, healthcare, hospitality, education, and multi-family dwellings; supporting the spaces in which we work, learn, live, play, and heal. As an Account Manager for our Dealer Channel, you energize and grow the Shaw Contract business by leading and enabling our dealer partners across the region. You are the strategic link between Shaw and the dealer sales teams—coaching, training, and collaborating to unlock market opportunities and consistently exceed sales targets. You work hands-on with dealer sales forces, architects, designers, and end users, translating the Shaw Contract innovative flooring solutions into winning commercial projects. From shaping dealer strategies and evaluating performance, to supporting key bids and strengthening long-term partnerships, you play a pivotal role in driving sustainable growth. This is a high-impact, field-based role for a commercial sales leader based in Dubai who thrives on relationship building, strategic thinking, and turning ambition into results—while representing the values, quality, and leadership of Shaw Contract. Our candidate will ideally reside in Dubai to cover the UAE , Turkey, and Sub Saharan country markets. Responsibilities: Lead, motivate, and develop dealer partner sales teams to achieve and exceed regional revenue targets. Build strategic selling plans that maximize dealer performance and expand Shaw Contract’s presence in priority markets. Serve as a trusted advisor to dealer principals and sales leaders, providing insight, guidance, and joint business planning. Engage regularly with dealers, end users, designers, architects, and contractors to identify business opportunities and strengthen Shaw’s market position. Conduct ongoing market assessments to understand competitive conditions, customer needs, and emerging trends. Represent Shaw Contract at key industry events, trade fairs, and customer engagements to elevate brand visibility and influence. Assess dealer competencies—including sales, internal support, and technical specialists—to identify development needs. Deliver product training, selling techniques, and competitive positioning to enhance dealer expertise, in partnership with Shaw Learning Academy. Coach dealer sales teams to improve selling effectiveness, pipeline management, and account execution. Maintain consistent communication with dealers, acting as a primary point of contact for commercial and administrative support. Coordinate closely with internal teams—including logistics, customer service, samples, and marketing—to ensure seamless order flow and customer satisfaction. Prepare and manage quotations, resolve dealer inquiries and complaints, and maintain accurate documentation. Conduct dealer business reviews, set performance goals, and monitor progress in partnership with the Regional Vice President. Travel extensively within the region (up to 60% overnight) to support dealers, meet customers, and strengthen market relationships. Host and entertain key stakeholders—including dealer teams, end users, and designers—at industry events, client meetings, and business meals. If you'd like to learn more, you can reach out to the Regional Sales VP on LinkedIn, Lars Huppertz. Requirements: 3–5 years of professional experience, ideally in commercial interiors, building products, or other B2B design‑related industries. Ability and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory, including overnight travel up to 60%. Valid driver’s license and passport. Proficiency with standard office technology, including PC, tablet, and mobile applications. Preferred Experience: Proven B2B outside sales experience within commercial interiors or commercial building materials. Experience selling through flooring dealers or flooring contractors in the Middle East & Africa region. Strong communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills with the ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders. Safety and Security Requirements: Job offer will be contingent on the applicants ability to obtain work authorization in Dubai and to pass the mandatory background check. Be aware of and abide by the laws of the UAE and any other countries visited on company business such as the UK. Use caution when lifting samples to prevent pulling/straining a back muscle.
