As an Account Manager at BD, you will play a key role in developing strategic relationships with key personnel in hospitals and healthcare institutions. Your commitment to supporting customers in achieving their clinical and operational goals using BD’s innovative product portfolio will directly enhance patient care. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative team, working in close alignment with colleagues across the region to unlock business opportunities and drive growth.
Your preferred work base is in the Oulu or Kuopio area, and the role involves extensive fieldwork, with approximately 80% travel, including occasional overnight stays.

As a leading manufacturer and supplier of products that are used daily in healthcare, the Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) team provide a wide range of products for injection and infusion therapy, regional anaesthesia and closed medication management.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and create the Account Business Plan to drive key customer and platform strategies.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual territory targets aligned with country budget expectations.
  • Focus on sustainable sales growth for the territory, ensuring both short-term and long-term success.
  • Convert key opportunities into sales and manage CRM (Salesforce) daily reporting.
  • Drive Customer Centricity activities to ensure compliance with BD Way of Selling and verifiable outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with key individuals through efficient management of project proposals.
  • Work closely with BD account managers to coordinate activities at the local level and enhance business opportunities.
