Moorgate Finance Limited are a well-established and continuously evolving commercial finance brokerage with an aim to become a one stop shop for commercial finance, and in turn become the biggest and best brokerage in the UK market. We have recently celebrated our tenth anniversary and in that time have facilitated funding of over £600 million. Our offices are based in Paulerspury and are commutable from Bedford, Milton Keynes and Northampton.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking to hire a forward thinking and proactive salesperson who has a desire to win new business and build on existing client relationships, the ideal candidate will be someone who is looking to build a career within the finance industry and as such we offer a market leading remuneration structure. You will need to be comfortable communicating directly with decision makers at all levels of a business, from Finance Managers through to Managing Directors. The ability to chameleon effectively when in conversation with customers is a vital skill in this role. To achieve real success in this role you would need to have a strong sense of self-motivation and a real desire to achieve growth within your career. Experience in finance is not essential as full training will be provided but you will ideally have at least two years of sales experience and a demonstrable track record of achieving or overachieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

  • Develop strong business relationships with new and existing customers with a consultative approach, providing expert financial advice to assist UK businesses in achieving their growth plans
  • Proactively approach new industries with targeted marketing plans and extensive prospecting activity to increase Moorgate’s market share in defined sectors, utilising market research and gained experience to identify market trends and capitalise on these
  • This role is a targeted sales role and as such you will be expected to meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Maintain, cleanse and grow our purpose-built CRM system to ensure accurate records are held to improve operational efficiencies and therefore streamlining internal and customer experience
  • Effectively process finance requirements from your customers, from writing up the credit paper to advising on credit placement with our internal underwriting with a strong focus on achieving the best outcome for the customer and maximising margins
  • Work closely with our marketing department to drive growth within target sectors, with a view to becoming the ‘go-to’ within your desired industry
