NEC Financial Services, LLC (NFS), founded in 1986, is the United States subsidiary of a publicly traded commercial equipment finance company with regional headquarters in New Jersey. We are a direct lender providing loans and leases to small and mid-sized businesses, with transactions typically ranging from $5,000 to $1,000,000.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are currently looking to hire a Regional Account Manager (RAM). This position requires direct sales activity with Major Accounts within a regional territory as assigned. The RAM is responsible for developing and maintaining all assigned account relationships, prospecting, and developing new relationships within the vertical markets defined.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of sales experience required. Experience within the financial services industry is a plus.
  • Skills: Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management software or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Build a Book of Business: Continuously assess vendor and end-user current and future financing requirements.
  • Lead Sourcing: Utilize social forums to source leads, qualify contacts, and close for repeat business.
  • Cold Calling: Establish new vendor and manufacturer relationships.
  • Relationship Management: Grow vendor, end-user, and manufacturer relationships to secure repeat/renewal business through telemarketing.
  • Prospecting: Identify new vendor, end-user, and manufacturer relationships that provide solutions to assist in securing financing.
  • Customer Engagement: Meet with potential large customers to structure new financing opportunities.
  • Promotion: Advocate for our financing services.
  • Support: Assist existing Accounts within assigned territory.
  • Training: Conduct training both onsite and remotely.
  • Public Speaking: Utilize strong presentation skills.
  • Travel: Travel 20% - 30% as required.
