Job Description The role of Sales Executive - Television, is to work closely with the Sales Manager and Sales team in managing an existing clientele database as well as identifying & closing new business development opportunities to achieve set monthly revenue targets. Day to day you will: Generate business development and new client acquisition for the Television platform Grow market share and revenue across your local client base Professionally represent the Nine brand within the market, having a strong and reputable market presence Present weekly pro-active ideas and strategies to generate new business, outside of cold calling requirements & day to day existing account management Build client portfolio expertise to identify and develop new business opportunities Develop relationships with decision makers and influencers across client base Link across divisions, functions and locations to present a seamless face to the client and their media/creative agencies Develop an extensive external industry network Ensure client and category insights are shared with the team Deliver open, honest communications Ensure you comply with core Nine’s values Determine appropriate advertising strategies to be deployed to effectively meet customer goals Identify suitable up-sell products to present to specific clients Qualifications You will be someone who can identify opportunities and convert them into successful advertising campaigns. You will be dedicated, energetic and a self motivated superstar! What you'll bring: Previous experience in a B2B sales role (highly regarded) Strong commercial acumen Computer knowledge of Google and internal software booking systems Negotiating and influencing skills Proven experience in building and maintaining strong relationships internally and externally Understanding of the Television medium & local SME Landscape (not essential) Additional Information How we work At Nine, our flexible work options vary by role and team.
