About the Role The Account Manager is responsible for driving commercial growth within Nottingham City Council's Commercial Waste service by developing new business opportunities, managing high value customer accounts, and promoting a range of charged for services including commercial waste collections and skip hire. The role focuses on securing and retaining contracts with businesses and building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders. About You The ideal candidate will have: * Successful track record in the sale and promotion of volume services. * Experience of contract negotiation and the management of customer accounts. * A track record of working in and forging successful partnerships with a wide range of external and internal bodies. * Excellent organisational skills, and experience of working autonomously, making effective use of time to meet deadlines. * Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to quickly establish the requirements, values, and stylistic preferences of a diverse range of customers.
