This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, based in Deventer or Barcelona with a travel component of around 40/50%. You will report to the Sales & Marketing Manager Organic Peroxides who is also based in Deventer.

Responsibilities
  • Maximize the total value creation for the business, maintain and grow the business within the guidelines provided by commercial management
  • Develop and nurture relationships at multiple levels and disciplines with existing and new customers to optimize value and capture relevant market information for the business
  • Frequently visit customers, distributors and relevant industry related events
  • Develop strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders and build an effective network
  • Hunt for new business opportunities and manage these in CRM
  • Execute the pricing plan and apply the tiered service level policy
  • Monitor the order to cash process together with customer service and provide accurate monthly sales forecasts to support production planning
  • Execute the sales channel strategy

We believe you bring

  • A Bachelor or Master’s Chemistry, Engineering, Biology and/or BBA/MBA
  • At least 2 years working experience in a similar sales role
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and in writing + another European language is an +
  • Experience in the chemical industry, and specifically in or with the Polymer industry, is preferred
  • Very strong experience in networking and interpersonal skills with internal and external customer
