As an Account Manager at Lightspeed, you will be part of our APAC Retail Sales team, responsible for managing inbound sales opportunities with retailers across the region. In this role, you will build strong relationships with a diverse range of merchants, understand their business goals, and ensure they are matched with the right solutions to support their success. What you’ll be doing: Act as a trusted Account Manager for customers exploring additional Lightspeed offerings, understanding their needs and recommending tailored solutions that add value. Build strong relationships through trust, rapport, and active listening, with a focus on identifying upsell opportunities and driving account growth. Guide qualified customers through upgrade paths from basic platforms to more advanced solutions. Demonstrate Lightspeed software solutions, including core point-of-sale (POS) products, modules, and upgrades. Drive expansion through reactive upsell from inbound sales opportunities and contribute to growing monthly recurring revenue. And a little bit of… Building strong retailer advocacy, increasing retailer empathy and understanding throughout the company. Contributing as part of the wider team to achieve organisational objectives even if this means doing things that aren’t strictly within the scope of your role. What you need to bring: We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following: Proven experience in account management, sales development, or a similar quota-carrying sales role. Understanding of solution-based, consultative sales in a SaaS environment. Previous experience using Salesforce and other tools to manage and organize sales pipelines. Clear and consistent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical skills. Our hiring process is very straightforward.
