Cowan Insurance Group is looking for an Account Manager to join our Personal Insurance team! This successful candidate will be reporting to the Manager, Personal Insurance. You will provide exceptional service to our Personal Insurance customers and insurance markets by servicing and maintaining the existing portfolio. You are knowledgeable in personal insurance policies coverages and products. You are a strong communicator, self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities
  • You will respond and provide guidance and advice to policyholders through customer calls and emails inquiries
  • Complete coverage reviews and recommendations and address client concerns
  • Document client discussions in our Broker Management system (EPIC)
  • Adhere to customer service standards and proper use of activity codes in EPIC and labeling procedures to ensure files are complete
  • Take a client centric and consultative approach to provide solutions that add value to our customers
  • Contribute to department sales goals through account rounding (upselling) and referrals while maintaining client retention and relationship, in accordance with department standards
