Position Summary
California Surveying & Drafting Supply (CSDS) is growing! - And we’re looking for a self-starter to join our Account Manager-Printing and Imaging Team. This Account Manager-Printing and Imaging position would cover the Bay Area/Dublin – Walnut Creek, Concord and Pleasant Hill. CSDS is one of the largest and most respected provider of HP Wide Format printing in California. Our customers are some of the largest general contractors, utilities, and public agencies in the industry.
In this role, you will present and sell printing and scanning products to customers to increase their productivity. You also will assist them in providing paper and ink consumable products.

In this role, you will…

The ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Actively seek and follow up on leads and sales opportunity.
  • Make face to face sales calls to understand the customer’s requirements. Develop long term relationships with key end-users with frequent sales calls.
  • Present Technical Sales Presentation and explain ROI in clear financial benefits of our printer equipment portfolio.
  • Demonstrate your proven track record of success in closing hardware solutions and product sales.
  • Be able to proficiently demonstrate use of Wide Format Printer equipment to existing and prospective customers.
  • Be capable of troubleshooting basic technical support issues and leverage the tools, resources and personnel available to be able to solve problems in a timely manner.
  • Assist in trade shows, conferences and customer seminars.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office Suites (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Teams) and various other administrative software platforms as needed.

The successful candidate should have the following experience:

  • Proven record of Sales success
  • Driven to solve customer problems and close sales.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate your message effectively.
  • Ability to manage a territory, develop existing customers and prospect new customers.
  • Aptitude to learn new printing technologies and to apply solution selling to demonstrate ROI and to solve the customers challenges.
  • Competitive and goal/target driven.
  • Technical Sales or printer experience is an asset.
  • An energetic, highly motivated individual able to work within a team environment and also possesses the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work activities appropriately while remaining calm and upbeat in and at times fast-paced.
